Program highlights

Main conference (April 6th-8th)

The HGM 2020 encompasses three high level themes covering researchers working in all areas of human genomics. Genome function; Populations and variants; and Into the clinic. The format consists of plenary sessions and parallel symposium sessions. There will also be a special indigenous genomics session at the opening of the meeting. We encourage attendees to take their seats early for this special opening session. There will be trade displays and poster sessions on the Monday and Tuesday evenings.

We are aiming to provide substantial opportunities for attendees to present orally. Almost half of the speaking slots in the main meeting will be selected from the abstracts and an additional 14 slots for early career researchers are available in the Early career symposium.

The HGM Early Career Researcher Symposium (April 5th)

The HGM Early Career Researcher Symposium invites students and post-docs to speak about their work and develop international networks. The most outstanding presenters win the opportunity to speak at the HGM2020 main meeting. The day includes career building sessions tailored for Early Career Researchers, and a sundowner networking session overlooking the beautiful Swan River. Senior scientists are also welcome to attend. Submit your abstracts through the HGM2020 abstract submission system.
